Valarie & Jacob {Engaged} || Atlantic Beach, Florida

   Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the trees in Jacksonville? When I met with Valarie and Jacob for their engagement session I passed a street that seemed so perfect for pictures, as the trees hugged so tightly around the road that they seemed to just embrace it. We had fun exploring further and further down the road. 

   These two made my job easy! They were great to work with and very easy going. I loved being able to capture them at such a special time of their lives together, as they will be getting married in the fall. I hope you enjoy these portraits from their session.

Nicole & Mike Tie the Knot || Jacksonville, Florida

    Love is a beautiful thing. It draws us from different backgrounds and experiences to common ground where we at ease and dare to be ourselves. It knits hearts together and makes us crave for that person whom we love to enter into our lives in permanency. 
    Marriage is wonderful. It is love expressed at its fullest, joining lives and families. Through it you see the best, the worst, and the truest side of each other. To love despite the frailty of our humanity is unselfish and only makes us better for it. 

    When I met Nicole and Mike for their engagement session back in the Fall, I knew that they had something special. That's a fact that was pretty easy to see. It is always an honor to me personally when I am asked to photograph someone's wedding. These two were no different. Their day was perfect. After a beautiful traditional Catholic Mass ceremony, I took their portraits beneath the canopy of some Spanish moss covered Oak trees which line the St. John's river and are so hauntingly gorgeous. 

   Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 

   Love never fails. 

Heather & Allen {Wedding Day} 3.1.15

    Heather & Allen got married at the Club Continental. Their day was absolutely perfect! Rain or shine the day goes on, but nothing ruined this gorgeous wedding. The rains held back for their outdoor ceremony, and I'm pretty sure it was everything they'd hoped for. 

    Being a wedding photographer is a huge honor that I don't treat lightly. To be behind the scene, watching the tears fall from mom's face, hearing the excitement in the bride's voice as she puts on her wedding dress, observing the nervous, excited anticipation of the groom before the ceremony. . . I love each of those moments. I hope these pictures let you experience the world of excitement and love that I was privileged to see as Heather & Allen were joined together before their family and friends.
